I feel like a lot of native Korean speakers would agree that they feel the heaviness of the very first line: 보고 싶다. It’s in the stem form (no conjugation), which means that it is not meant to reach any specific listener. It’s like the longing for “you” grew so strong inside that it got released on its own, and that explains the second line “이렇게 말하니까 더 보고 싶다” because the feeling is now even more strongly realized and admitted.
